Duniya Vijay arrested and sent for 14 days judicial custody

Duniya Vijay and his friends were presented in front of the judge in court in the wee hours of Sunday, as the actor walked in to surrender himself, along with his bruised gym trainer who he had allegedly abducted the previous night.
Actor Duniya Vijay has been arrested for allegedly assaulting gym trainer Maruti Gowda. Duniya, who was arrested on Saturday night, was placed at the Vyalikaval police station.Later in the evening police presented Duniya Vijay and his friends in front of the judge at his residence at 7:30 pm.
The judge, who overlooked the case, handed over Duniya Vijay and his friends to a judicial custody. Duniya Vijay and his associates were taken to Parappana Agrahara jail.
On Saturday night, Duniya Vijay and few others kidnapped Maruthi Gowda. The Highground police registered the complaint and warned Vijay to bring back Maruthi Gowda. Maruthi Gowda was bought back to Highgrounds police station after 30 minutes.
