Dr Rajkumar's birthplace Gajanur is the title of this new film

The suspense thriller film would be directed by Keerthi who has worked as an assistant to Mohan and filmmaker Nanda Kishore and this films marks his debut as a director in Sandalwood. The film has been produced by Avinash who also marks his debut as a producer with this film. The film would have three songs which would be composed by Sridhar V Sambhram. The team has roped in Kranthi Kumar as the dialogue writer whereas Bhushan would be the choreographer for the film. The team plans to shoot extensively in Thirthahalli for 35 days.

The team also met ADGP Bhaskar Rao to seek his wishes for the film's success. Interestingly the film also has a cool connect with late veteran actor Dr Rajkumar. The film's name Gajanur is where the late actor was born and that is what makes the film unique. Other casts include
Ravishankar, Tabla Nani, Kuri Prathap, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Babu Hiraniah, Taranga Vishwa, Vani and Santhu. The team plans to launch on Sankranti in January 16.
