Dhananjay earned massive praise for his portrayal of negative character Dolly in ‘Tagaru’ and the film went on to become a huge hit at the box office. The popular character has got a film of its own titled ‘Dolly’ and it set all set to go on December 23.
Dhananjay and team will be shooting in Lucknow where the team has erected a massive set. The first schedule will go on for 25 days, post which the team will shift to Bangalore for the next schedule. Rachita Ram will be sharing screen space with Dhananjay in ‘Dolly’. Bhavya Trikha, who has featured in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, will mark her Kannada debut with this movie.
Anoop Seelan will be composing the music for the film, while the lyrics have been penned by
Jayant Kaikini
and
Nagendra Prasad. ‘Dolly’ is directed by Director Prabhu Srinivas and produced by Yogesh Narayan. This film will continue tracing the life of Dolly from ‘Tagaru’, which was directed by
Duniya Soori.
