' posed a new challenge for the actor. 'Rangayana Raghu plays a guy who fights for the freedom of the forest, along with the lead actor Duniya Vijay. Since the role itself is something he has not played before, we decided to get him to sport a look that is completely different too,' reveals Nagashekar. Rangayana Raghu says, 'My wife and daughter also did not recognize me when they saw this picture. In Maasthi Gudi, I play a mahout who has lived in the forest all his life and knows it like the back of his hand. The film also captures the life of my character from the time he is around 25 till he is around 70 years old. But most of the scenes will require me to sport this look. The makeup takes 2-3 hours every morning. My makeup man Prakash tried quite a few looks before we settled on this one. The materials have been brought in from Mumbai. While there are no issues with the quality, it is the fact that I will be shooting like this right through summer that is going to be the bigger challenge. We have close to 40 days of shoot, starting from the second week of April, right in the middle of the forest. The heat will pose the biggest challenge in maintaining the look right through the day. However, I totally love the story and the character I play, as there is a message that needs to go out to people through this film. Except for the heat, I am looking forward to playing this role.'
