Discussions for Kick remake still on: Ramesh
Ramesh Aravind, who recently finished work on his new film in the sir series is excited about all he does, acting (in his own films, as well as that directed and scripted by others), scripting and directing. And when hes working on a project, his focus is entirely on that particular film.
For the third film in the 'Sir series, which has been titled Chatrigalu sir Chatrigalu, the actor shot in a single 30-day schedule.

"We took about 30 days in pre-production, especially writing, and another 30 to make the film. Everything went smoothly because we had planned it all so well that we knew what to do at each stage," says the filmmaker-actor.
And while hes also rumoured to be the choice of director for the Telugu remake of Kick, Ramesh says that the project is still in discussion stages. I have been busy with my films, as has been Uppi whos been roped in to play the lead, says Ramesh, who has films like Tunturu, Mangana Kaiyalli Manikya, Chatrigalu sir Chatrigalu and a Tamil film Machan, up for release. The actor-director, who has worked with Kamal Haasan in the past, was among the first to take to his microblogging page and voice his support for Kamal, when Vishwaroopam was banned. I dont understand why the film has been banned. Ive seen the film before the background score was mixed and know for sure that there is nothing to hurt the sentiments of any religious community. The story of the film doesnt even transpire in India, says Ramesh, who is looking forward to see the film once it releases in Bangalore.
