Dilwaala team recreates South Africa in Bangalore

If things do not work according to plan, it’s time to improvise. At least that’s what the makers of upcoming Kannada film Dilwaala, starring Sumanth and Radhika Pandit, believe in. The team could not travel to South Africa to shoot a song sequence due to some unforeseen issues. But since it was a situational song, it was apparently necessary to get the nuances in place.“We had to resort to shooting for the song right here at a huge ground in Bangalore. But when you look at what has been created and shot, you would easily feel you have been transported to Africa. A lot of work has gone into the costumes for the dancers, in order to create a South African ambience. There’s also the music by Arjun Janya that adds to the picturization,” explains the film’s producer Shailendra Babu, of the song that features his son Sumanth in the lead role.
