Films, adventure, astronomy, crime documentaries and more films! Actors Diganth Manchale and Nirup Bhandari, who are coming together for the former’s upcoming film, Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana, had more than one reason to bond over on the set. Nirup is playing an extended cameo in the film.
Nirup says Diganth was the primary reason why he accepted to be part of the film and also confessed that he has been an admirer of Diganth’s comic timing. “Back in the day, my friends had a huge crush on Diganth. I am probably one of those very few people who has followed his films right from his debut film Miss California. In fact, I took up this cameo in his film because Diganth felt I would be able to add weight to the character. And my immediate response was ‘if you want me to do it, I’ll do it’“ says Nirup.
Additionally, Nirup adds, “I am a huge fan of films like Gravity and Interstellar. And Diganth knows so much about astronomy. I liked the subject, but hadn’t explored it enough. Once we got to talking, we spoke about everything possible and we have also formed a bond, thanks to criime documentaries. Of late, we have been in constant touch, recommending series and documentaries to each other.”
