Did you know that birthday boy Maddy debuted in Kannada?

Madhavan started off with an English film, but his first major release was Shanti Shanti Shanti in Kannada. Maddy, as he is fondly known, acted alongside Abbas in the film. Post the release, he went on to act in Tamil, notably in Alaipayuthey, and the recent Vikram Vedha, and has also starred in many Hindi blockbusters like 3 Idiots.
