One of the films that's become quite popular with not just Kannada film lovers but film buffs everywhere, is
Dia
. The romantic film brought to the fore a new heartthrob in the form of lead actress Kushee. "I am overwhelmed by the love I have received for the film and people seem to have found an element to connect with in it. I am grateful for all the good reviews not just from Karnataka but from other states too," she says.
Kushee is a die hard romantic and loves watching films of any language. She lists out her five favourites for #QuickTakesWithBangaloreTimes:
-
Moggina Manasu
: This was directed by Shashank and it marked the debuts of
Radhika Pandit and Yash. Both of them have excelled in this film and nailed it when it comes to their performances. I am a big fan of
Yash, and this is one of my favourites.
-
Bommarillu
: This Telugu film was a cute love story and it had Genelia D'Souza in a standout performance. Siddharth looked handsome as always. The music and songs are still on my playlist.
- Raja Rani: I have watched this
Tamil film at least a dozen times. There is something so captivating about its background score. The emotions conveyed in the film are also real and relatable.
- Premam: This Malayalam film is all about love across different stages in life. I might not have led a life as eventful, but the film does bring back memories of school and college when I watch it. Nivin Pauly's performance is fabulous. And I love the songs, especially Malare.
-
Ram Leela
: This
Sanjay Leela Bhansali film featured
Ranveer Singh and
Deepika Padukone and their chemistry in this love story is remarkable. The songs from the film are an additional highlight.
