Dhruva Sarja reunites with Addhuri-maker AP Arjun
The 2012 Kannada film Addhuri was a defining moment not only for its leading man Dhruva Sarja, who has had a meteoric rise to stardom since, but also for its director AP Arjun. Yet, despite their successful start, the duo did not collaborate on another project since, until now, that is. Dhruva and Arjun are set to reunite for an as-yet-untitled film backed by Uday Mehta.
Dhruva was, in fact, committed to Uday's Dubaari, to be directed by Pogaru filmmaker Nandakishore and it was already announced that Sreeleela would be the leading lady too alongside him in this film, which was to be a romantic commercial entertainer.

But with that project being delayed, and Nandakishore moving on to two other projects (one with Shreyas K Manju and another newly announced one with Prajwal Devaraj), Dhruva 's next, which was being widely speculated would see him collaborate with many makers including director Prem, will finally be with Arjun.
The team had a simple script puja on Wednesday to formally begin work on the project, just ahead of Ashada. "The team is looking at a muhurtha on August 12, when they will also formally announce the title. This will be a commercial entertainer, as is expected from Dhruva and Arjun, especially since they are reuniting after so long. Arjun, meanwhile, will also work simultaneously on his other project Addhuri Lover, which has Viraat and Sanjana Anand in lead roles," informs a source close to the team.
