National Award-winning actor
Dhanush is making his foray in
Kannada
as a producer. Dhanush, who has previously rendered the hit track No Problem from
Vajrakaya
, will be teaming up with
Savari
and Prithvi fame filmmaker
Jacob Varghese for a film which will be helmed by ad filmmaker Islahuddin. This film will star
Rishi of Operation Alamelamma fame in the lead.
The film is currently in its pre-production phase and the film is slated to go on floors by the end of summer tentatively. This film is rumoured to be an adaptation of the Tamil film Naanum Rowdy Thaan, which was also produced by Dhanush and starred
Vijay Sethupathi and
Nayanthara in the lead roles.
