The movie has been getting a good response from the audience, and has recorded a good collection on the first and second days at the box office. While the numbers for the second day have not been officially confirmed by the film’s team, the Dhananjaya-starrer is said to have taken a jump on day 2 from the collections on day 1.

The film’s team officially announced that Dolly Dhananjaya-starring 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' has grossed Rs 2.53 crore at the box office on the first day. As per sources, the Duniya Suri directorial has collected Rs 3.5 crore on the second day.

'Popcorn Monkey Tiger', which was released in more than 300 theaters across the state, has been going houseful in many theaters. The film was released simultaneously in Karnataka and abroad and Dhananjaya,

and Nivedita are seen in lead roles in this movie. It is produced by Sudhir K M under the Studio 18 banner and is based on the real-life of Seena, a Bangalore-based gangster. The plot revolves around Monkey Seena alias

and the Popcorn Devi. Director Suri has shown a raw flavour of violence with murder, blood, crimes and alcohol in the film.
