Deepika Kamaiah walks as a showstopper

The Sandalwood bunch is a busy lot right now, what with the various fashion weeks taking place in the city back to back. And most of them seem to prefer the local actors when it comes to opting for a showstopper. This time around, it was actress Deepika Kamaiah���������s turn to walk the ramp for designer Umesh at the Bangalore Fashion Week where she looked stunning in a bridal lehenga.The actress, who celebrates her birthday today, brought it in with style by gracing the ramp. Though the blingy outfit looked quite heavy, Deepika swerved around on the ramp in it with ease drawing quite a few uuhhs and aahs from the audience. The actress did not look one bit hassled when she stood and answered the questions posed to her by the media quite patiently.
Dipika has just completed her work on a Shahid Kapoor starrer film which was shot recently in Mysore. The local lass played a cameo there and had a ball of a time working on it.
