December 1 to release on April 25

The National Film Awards was announced last week which adjudged, December 1, as the best Kannada film. The film, which is about a poor family in a village that gets enmeshed with the crooked ways of politicians, has been directed by P Sheshadri. He has also won the best screenplay writer award for the film. Sheshadri, who has been receiving good wishes since the announcement from various quarters, wrote on Twitter recently, “Namaste, Thanks to your wishes.DECEMBER-1 will be released on April 25th. Pls watch it and spread this word.” The film will release in theatres on April 25.
This is not the first National Award for this talented director who has in the past received National awards for films like Munnudi, Atithi, Beru and more. It will be interesting to see what kind of a response it will receive from the general masses once the film opens in theatres.
