Darshan’s next said to be ‘tailor-made for his fans’

After six years, actor Darshan and director Prakash, who had delivered Taarak in 2017 together, are collaborating again for a commercial caper. Prakash, who is known for family dramas, asserts that this a ‘true Darshan film in every sense’. The movie, titled Devil - The Hero, was launched on Thursday. Asked if Devil will also be a family drama like all his previous films, Prakash asserts, “No! This is a proper out-and-out commercial entertainer tailor-made for Darshan fans. We did a soft launch on Thursday as the day was auspicious. The movie will take off only in December after Darshan finishes his previous commitments.” The team is also planning a foreign schedule for the film.

Prakash is now Prakash Veer“I have added our family name ‘Veer’ as per my late father’s wishes,” Prakash said. Prakash’s father, C Jayaram, who has produced some cult classics in the 1980s, including Auto Raja, passed away in 2021.
