The film, directed by Darshan’s brother Dinaker Thoogudeepa, brought together onscreen the sons of villains and character artistes. The film is also a tribute to the fathers with all seven characters getting screen names inspired by

popular characters

played by their fathers.

The remake of Reservoir Dogs, the film revolved around Jaggu, played by the former, a criminal who indulges in dacoity and major thefts. The turning point comes when Jaggu is contracted by the Dubai underworld to steal the golden howdah during the Dasara festivities. Jaggu, along with his accomplices, Kiran, Shetty, Vicky, Tony, Gende and Kumbhi, hatch a plan to steal the howdah. Although they succeed in their mission, they have ACP Bhagat on their tail, determined to get it back from them in time for the Vijayadashami procession in Mysuru.

After their mission, differences crop up between Jaggu, Kiran, Shetty and Vicky, which eventually leads to the death of Bhagat at the hands of Jaggu. The rest of the narrative revolves around whether the howdah is restored or sent to the antique dealer. Kan Kan Salige, a song sung by Sonu Nigam continues to be popular to this day. V Harikrishna had composed the music.
