The Challenging Star's historical project,
Gandugali Madakari Nayaka
, which is based on a novel written by BL Venu in the early 1980s, will bring together producer
Rockline Venkatesh, director Rajendra Singh Babu and
Darshan. Buzz is that the big-budget film will be launched on December 2 and the shooting will begin thereafter at various locations, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and a few other cities.
Darshan is currently shooting for
Roberrt and is also preparing to play the role of warrior Madakari Nayaka. This will be the second time Darshan will be seen playing a historial character. He had earlier played the role of Krantiveera Sangoli Rayanna.
