Darshan’s Bul Bul creates a record

While Challenging star Darshan is still riding high on the success of Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna, he has more good news to rejoice. His upcoming film Bul Bul has set a new record in Sandalwood, the satellite rights have been sold for a record price. It is perhaps due to the last two successful outings at the box-office that the actor had, Sarathi and Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna that the value of satellite rights of his upcoming film has shot up.
As per reports, Bul Bul, has been acquired by a popular television channel for a whopping Rs 4.15 crores. That is the highest paid for the rights for any Kannada film. It has beven broken the records of Puneeth Rajkumar’s Anna Bond which had been paid Rs 4 crores to the makers of the film for the television rights. What is interesting is however to note that the satellite rights of his earlier film Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna hasn’t been sold yet as the producer is waiting for the right price.
