Challenging Star Darshan owns a mini zoo in his native Mysuru which is located on the outskirts of the city has brought Kanrej cattle from a Ghoshala near Penukonda of Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh.
Impressed by the characters of kankrej cattle which is a rare breed which are basically from Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, Darshan decided to house these animals in the Vineesh Darshan Stud Farm. Darshan was accompanied by his friends and actor Yashas Surya during their visit to Ghoshala.
Darshan, an animal lover, has various species of birds and horses in his farm where he spends most of the time, where there are no shoots.
On career front, Darshan is shooting for Kaatera, directed by Tharun Sudhir. Producer Rockline Venkatesh has said that they are aiming for Dasara release which is one of most expected movies of this year. The move which is set in the 1970’s period marks the debut of Radhana Ram, daughter of Malashree and late producer Ramu. The project also marks the return of Kumar Govind to Sandalwood. The movie has been shot extensively by erecting sets.
