Darshan told me not to change my wedding date: Tharun Sudhir

Tharun Sudhir, Yashas Suriya, and MLA Darshan Puttanaiah visited actor Darshan in Parappana Agrahara jail for the Renukaswamy murder case. Tharun, known for Roberrt and Kaatera, hopes Darshan will be released before his August wedding. Judicial custody for Darshan, girlfriend Pavithra Gowda, and 12 others extended till August 1 with Rs 83.6 lakh seized. No wedding postponement; Darshan's innocence believed.

Director Tharun Sudhir, who has worked with actor Darshan in two hit films, Roberrt and Kaatera, met the actor in Parappana Agrahara jail today. He was accompanied by Garadi actor Yashas Suriya, and MLA Darshan Puttanaiah. Tharun said, “He (Darshan) welcomed me with his signature smile. He was unwell, but he is better now. I feel like we have all become weak since his arrest.”
Asked about the rumours surrounding his plans to postpone the wedding because Darshan is not around, Tharun said, “He knew about the wedding, and he strictly told me not to change the wedding date. I still believe that he is innocent, and I really hope he comes out of the prison as soon as possible.” Asked if Darshan has sought any kind of special permission to attend the wedding, Tharun said, “Like I said, I believe he is innocent and that he will be out of prison before the event.”
Tharun is all set to enter the wedlock with actress Sonal Monterio on August 10th and 11th. Darshan and Tharun were all set to collaborate for a historical project Sindhoora Lakshmana.
Darshan is currently lodged in Parappana Agrahara jail in Renukaswamy murder case. On Thursday, the judicial custody of actor Darshan, his girlfriend ,Pavithra Gowda, and 12 others, who have been arrested in a murder case, was extended till Aug 1. The accused were produced before the court through video conference. The prosecution requested the court to extend judicial custody of all the accused as investigation is still under way and police are yet to find the source of Rs 83.6 lakh, seized from the accused.
