has always maintained that the supporting actors need to be treated with equal respect on the sets. Senior actor Umesh, who essays a role in Jaggu Dada, was called on the set of the film and kept waiting until 4 pm without a single shot being taken. An assistant director realized the gaffe he made and told him that there was no shot of him scheduled for the day and that he was called by mistake. 'Darshan, who witnessed the entire proceedings, was angered when he heard about what happened and ensured that everyone present there respect the time of veteran actors,' says a source from the set. When contacted, director Raghavendra Hegde said that climax scenes involve many actors and sometimes these actors don't have a shot because of the many scenes, pointing out how during the climax of the Bollywood film Khakhee, even Amitabh Bachchan had to wait it out.
