Darshan renders his voice for the first time for a Sandalwood song

Sandalwood star Darshan added yet another feather to his cap recently. For the first time in his acting career, the actor has rendered his voice to the title track of the upcoming flick

starring Ravichandran. “Darshan is extremely close to MS Ramesh, the director of the film. Since it’s a long-standing friendship, it was Ramesh’s idea to use his friend’s voice for the track,” shares Guru Kiran, the

director of the film. “Owing to Darshan’s busy schedule, his voice was recorded separately and the pattern of the song was worked out later. He has mouthed some interesting dialogues that has been woven into the ditty. In fact, he presents the premise of the film and it speaks about king Dasharatha and his daughter Shantha and connects this element with the situation in Kaliyuga (modern age). We’ve tried something new and it’s a unique attempt for Darshan, too,” says Guru adding that the actor has lent much gravitas to the track with his trademark voice and style.
