Darshan is the brand ambassador of Karnataka State of Agriculture Department

Challenging Star Darshan has been announced as the new brand ambassador of Karnataka State of Agriculture Department by the minister for agriculture B C Patil. The actor-turned-minister on Sunday visited Darshan's farm when he was on his way back to Bengaluru, after attending an official programme at Chamarajanagar.
BC Patil on his twitter page has posted (translated from Kannada), "Darshan is a professional actor and his love for animals and his interest towards agriculture and protecting the environment makes him a perfect example for the younger generation.He will also participate in events which will be held to meet farmers from different parts of Karnataka.” Darshan is also the brand ambassador of Karnataka Forest Department. He is the only actor in Sandalwood who is currently the brand ambassador of both the agriculture and forest department.
Meanwhile, Dashan is gearing up for the release of Roberrt, which is set to hit screens on March 11, on the festival of Maha Shivaratri. The film team has also begun promotional activities run up to the release. The film directed by Tharun Sudhir has Asha Bhatt in the female lead. Actors Vinod Prabhakar, Sonal Monteiro, Aishwarya Prasad, Chandu Gowda, Devaraj, Ravishankar, Ravi Kishan, Chikkana and Shivaraj K R Pete will be seen in significant roles.
