Crying on screen is easy; comedy is a challenge, says Nidhi Subbaiah
Nidhi Subbaiah is preparing to play a character with grey shades for dark comedy with thriller elements in a yet-to-be-titled film, and she tells us she is most excited about it. “I have been playing this bubbly girl-next-door role for a long time now. I am looking forward to a change with this role where there will be negative shades too. The challenge is that there is also dark comedy. Crying on screen or portraying sensitive and deep emotions come to me easily. Comedy is different. However, my friends have often told me that I have good comic timing, so I hope to be able to take that to the screen too,” says the actress who will share screen space with Aniruddha Jatkar and Rachel David in the Anand Raj directorial.
