Comedian Kuri Prathap turns hero for his next

Popular Sandalwood comedian Kuri Prathap is set to play the lead in

RC brothers

, a film that celebrates the bond between siblings. The movie, directed by

Prakash Kumar

, will see him sharing screen space with Tabla Nani.
The film goes on floors in March, says Prathap, adding, “Tabla Nani plays my older brother in the film. As the younger sibling, I am the fun-loving guy who enjoys his life to the fullest. The siblings, though, share a certain bond and despite their differences, support each other through thick and thin. And while Nani’s character struggles to find the right match to get married, I get married, but due to certain reasons, am not allowed to meet my wife. All this, plus my attempts to sneak in and see my wife, will make for an interesting watch.”

As for doing a lead role, the actor says, “For me, all roles are the same. Yes, there have been comedians who have turned solo heroes and then shunned supporting roles. I don’t want to follow suit, as I enjoy sharing screen space with Sandalwood stars and that won’t be possible if I only do lead roles.”
