Chiranjeevi approached to be part of Darshan’s next movie with Prem

Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi is likely to come back to Kannada after 22 years. If a source is to be believed, Chiranjeevi will be seen in an extended cameo role in Darshan’s next movie with Prem. The movie is likely to go on floors by June 2024.

A source in the know of details said, “Prem sir met Chiranjeevi sir in Hyderabad on December 22. He narrated the script to Chiru sir and sir also reacted positively to it. The team is now waiting for a nod from Chiru sir. He sounded excited about the project.”

Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi was last seen in a Kannada film in Ravichandran’s 1996 movie Sipayi in a special role. A special song from the film, Snehakke Sneha was a blockbuster hit back in the day.

Prem-Darshan collaboration has already created a huge buzz among movie fans. Their last movie together, Kariya, which released in 2023, is considered a cult classic. Prem is currently shooting with Dhruva Sarja for pan-India movie KD, which is said to be a 2-parter. Darshan-Prem’s movie is likely to go on floors in June 2024.
