Actor and activist Chetan Kumar began shooting for his debut Telugu film last month. The actor has now revealed the title of the movie on his twitter page, with a poster. His post reads. “My Telugu-Kannada film has launched its title! ‘100 Crores’: an investigative thriller currently shooting in Hyderabad(sic).” The
project
marks the debut of
Chakravarthy
as a director who had worked as a dialogue writer.
Chetan will be seen in the
role
of a corrupt and fun-loving police officer, which he has not done before, in 100 crores. The shoot of the project is currently underway in Hyderabad. Shiva Kartheek is the music director. Meanwhile, the actor's Ranam will hit the screen this month. The actor, on his
Facebook page had posted, “My upcoming
Kannada
thriller 'Ranam' is releasing this January 2021th. Watch and have fun(sic).” The project also has late actor
Chiranjeevi Sarja in a prominent role.
The movie, which was in the pipeline for a long time, was supposed to release last year. But due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the makers pushed the release to January. The movie, directed by
V Samudra
, has
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the female lead.
