South Indian actor
Chaya Singh is set to join Shivarajkumar-Narthan's Bhairathi Ranagal, a prequel to their previous collaboration, Mufti. Singh, known for her Kannada serial Amurthadhare, made the decision to make the film after Mufti (2017), but it took time to come together. She is excited to be working with Shivarajkumar and director Narthan, and is eagerly waiting for the film to release.
Chaya's character in Bhairathi Ranagal, a prequel to Mufti, reveals a tiff between her character Vedhavathi and her brother Bhairathi Ranagal, leaving questions about their behavior and why. The prequel allows viewers to see how these characters are shaped into their roles in Mufti.
Chaya has always been selective in her career, choosing characters that blend into the story and connect with the audience. Her foray into the small screen in Kannada was influenced by the script of Amruthadhare.
Chaya is part of
Dinakar Thoogudeepa's upcoming directorial Royal starring Virat and has completed shooting for it. She also has a Tamil film that is yet to go on floors.
Chaya loves working, which motivates her to go out and work. However, she finds cinema easier as it allows her more time to prepare, while television requires more time and challenges character control.
