Charulatha makes a comeback to Sandalwood

ActressCharulatha, is making a comeback to Sandalwood after six years. The actress will be seen in two upcoming Kannada movies Kaligala and Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara. Confirming the news, director Swaroop of Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara says, “Charulatha will be playing an important role in the movie, which will have both tradition and modern looks.” The movie has new comers Jeevetha, Sanjana Prakash, Meghana, Anjana Dev, Preetham and Sunil in the lead roles. The movie is expected to go on floors in August month. The Punjabi born actress will also be seen in a female-oriented movie Kaligala, which has Roopika, Pavana and Sai Kumar in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Sai Prakash. The film also has Srinivasmurthy, Sandeep, Darshan, Ramesh Bhat and Padma Vasanthi in the lead roles. Kaligala is the 97th movie directed by Sai Prakash. Charulatha has earlier acted in movies like O Mallige and Habba.
