Dev s/o Muddegowda actress Charmme Kaur, who was last seen in Sandalwood in a special number in the Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer Yaare Koogadalli and will return with the trilingual RUM, which also stars Trisha and Nikesha Patel, has just bagged the Andhra Pradesh government’s best actress award.
In a voice note that she posted on a popular voice blogging site as well as on her micro-blogging page, Charmme said, “I just got a letter that I have received the Nandi Award for Best Actress (Jury) for Mangala. The award will be given at a function on April 11. I am so excited. I think there will be live telecast of the programme on TV. Please watch it and I hope that I get many more Nandis. Thank you all for your love,” she said, singing off her post with kisses.
In the Telugu horror film Mangala, Charmme was seen playing a film star, who is subjected to and tortured by black magic.
