Chandu Gowda has recently started shooting for another yet-to-be-titled project which is a horror-cum-thriller. Working in the popular serial,
Trinayini, he confesses has been instrumental in him landing up the film offer. “The film’s director Ramana Raj spotted me in this serial and was keen on having me as the film’s lead,” he say
To be shot in Kannada and Telugu.
Chandu says the film will also be dubbed in Tamil. “This will be my first horror movie, one that is inspired by a Korean film. While the treatment will be similar, the storyline has been changed. We plan to shoot in Bengaluru Chikmagalur and Shillong,” says the actor who will be seen alongside a cast that includes Tsunami Kitty, Yesha and Sachin Timaiah.
While the team is hoping to wrap shoot early enough to see a 2021 release in the theatres, Chandu explains that the decision to release in the theatres or on OTT will be taken based on the pandemic situation later this year. Apart from this, Chandu is also gearing up for his films
Dwepatra and
Jackpot, which he hopes will also hit the screens this year.
