'A' heroine Chandni returns to Kannada cinema

Chandni, who rose to fame in Sandalwood with her roles in the Upendra starrer A and subsequently Shivarajkumar's AK47, is returning to Kannada cinema.
The actress-turned-entrepreneur, who has been away from the big screen for a decade is all set to make a comeback with a film called Khaidi, in which she will be paired with young actor Dhanush (of Psycho fame). Khaidi, incidentally, is the title of a Dr Vishnuvardhan film that was re-released in Bangalore recently.While it is unclear if the new film has any connection to the old one, what we do know is that Pyscho producer Gurudutt is behind this venture.
Chandni and Dhanush have already done a first look photoshoot together and actual shooting is expected to begin by the second week of May.
