Chandan Shetty, Niveditha Gowda apply for divorce

Former Bigg Boss contestants and Kannada actors Chandan Shetty and Niveditha Gowda have filed for divorce at a family court in Bengaluru with a mutual consent.
The duo appeared before the court today to commence the mediation process. The couple had got married in February 2020. They have decided now to part ways which has come as a shock especially for their fans.
Chandan Shetty and Niveditha Gowda first met in the Bigg Boss Kannada season 5. They later became close friends inside the Bigg Boss house. The relationship later blossomed into love. Chandan Shetty decided to take relationship to the next level by proposing to Niveditha Gowda at Yuva Dasara stage in Mysuru.
Both Niveditha and Chandan later appeared in many television shows, and they recently appeared together in Kotee pre-release event which was aired on a leading general entertainment channel. The couple continue to follow each other on social media.
Chandan Shetty and Niveditha are also acting together in a psychological thriller movie, directed by debutante Punith Srinivas.
