Challenging Star Darshan, who has been keeping himself busy during the lockdown, says that while resuming shoot is important, what is also needed is the reopening of theatres. The actor, who is awaiting the release of his film Roberrt, says that more than the shoots, it is important to reopen theatres. "I don’t know about others, but I believe reopening of theatres is more important than beginning shooting,”
Darshan was quoted saying.
“If we start shooting for the projects and keep it ready for release even before theatres reopen, then there will be release issues," the actor adds.
Meanwhile it was reported earlier that Roberrt, which has Darshan, Asha Bhat, Sonal Monteiro, Aishwarya Prasad and Vinod Prabhakar in lead roles, may release only next year. The movie, which was originally slated to release in April, was postponed since the lockdown was announced in March. The teaser and lyrical video of songs like Ba Ba Ba Na Ready, Jai Shri Ram and Dostha Kano have piqued the interest of viewers. The project also marked the collaboration of Darshan and music director Arjun Janya for the fourth time. Shooting for his other film, Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka, too seems to have been pushed by a few months. According to reports, the team will only be going to shoot around December this year. While Darshan and a few senior supporting cast members are all that have been revealed, there is a lot of curiosity with regards to the leading lady and other details regarding this film.
