Bul Bul to complete half century

Come June 28 and Bul Bul, one of the biggest hits in Kannada in recent times will complete 50 days. The film is running successfully in 84 screens all across Karnataka and the week after that, it will complete 50 days in 15 other screens. So, it will be 99 screens in total. The one week difference is because of the delayed release in all those screens. Some of the major centres like Gokak in north Karnataka also had a delayed release. But, the delay did not hamper the performance of the film at the box-office. In fact, the film will break the record of another of Darshan’s succefful films, Saarathi, which completed 50 days in 94 screens. The celebration party has already been planned which is interestingly being organized by an exhibitor and not the producer. The box-office collection of Bul Bul has already taken over Saarathi’s and if the current scenario is anything to go by, then Bul Bul might end up being the biggest hit in Kannada.
