BTown’s Malvika Sharma in A Harsha’s Telugu debut with Gopichand

Director A Harsha’s Tollywood debut is ticking all the right boxes. With Tollywood actor Gopichand on board as lead, the director has now enlisted Bollywood lass Malvika Sharma. Sources reveal that talks with Sharma have been on for a while, with her confirmation coming on Monday.

Malvika’s versatile face complements her role
“The team has been scouting for a suitable face, and came across her profile on social media. Harsha felt her versatile face complements her role in the film – and things began rolling. Auditions were held, and she aced it,” adds the source. Malvika who began her career in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, plays a girl with dual shades.

From comedy to mature portrayals
“A comic introduction, and her cute looks apart, as the movie progresses, she takes on a more serious tone, displaying maturity very unlike her character,” the source points out. The title of the flick is scheduled to be released on Gopichand’s birthday in June.
