Puneeth Rajkumar, quite evidently, was highly regarded across the entire country with the same intensity. Very rare it is that an actor, despite being all of 46 in terms of age, garners so much respect and admiration from not just his fans but also his peers. Joining this long list of celebs is Bollywood actor
Kangana Ranaut who recently reposted an old video featuring
Puneeth Rajkumar and termed his tragic passing as a "big loss".

Kangana Ranaut reposted a video that was originally shared by Yogi Sadhguru in which Puneeth can be seen sharing a grand stage with singer
Usha Uthup at an event organized by the Isha Foundation. Puneeth, as seen in the video, was brought onto a stage by Sadhguruji himself as Usha Uthup rendered a live version of the
Bombe Heluthaithe (from the film 'Raajakumaara' song in the background - the actor would soon join her and sing along in his own inimitable voice.
Usha Uthup too had expressed grief over the passing of Puneeth Rajkumar with whom she shared a really close association. Recently, while speaking an online daily about the actor and his amiable personality, Usha Uthup recounted the times she had met Puneeth and said that he was a man of great etiquette who carried "such a huge personality and persona on his shoulders with so much dignity and grace". She would also go on to call Puneeth a complete gentleman whose eyes smiled before he did and added that he doesn't belong to Karnataka alone but the entire film fraternity in the country.
Usha Uthup had a similar pleasant encounter with the late Dr. Rajkumar during an event in Bengaluru in which she sang the song
Huttidare Kannada Nadalli Huttabeku and charmed the matinee idol. At the time of Puneeth Rajkumar's passing, Usha Uthup is said to have been working on a new version of the song to bring it out for this year's Kannada Rajyotsava.
