After Srinivasa Kalyana, filmmaker-actor MG Srinivas received several offers to star in rom-coms, but he wanted to break away from the genre. As someone who says he’s always open to experimenting, Srinivas came up with the idea of a dark, crime thriller, which he wanted to make into a character-based series.
