Bhuuvaan Ponnanna set to bring Kodava flavour to his big screen comeback

Kannada actor Bhuuvaan Ponnanna, who has been away from films for a while, is all set to make a much-awaited comeback with Hello 1 2 3. The film will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Yograj Bhat and will feature music by V Harikrishna. Best known for roles in films like Randhawa, Bhuuvaan is now returning in a new avatar. Speaking to Bangalore Times, Bhuuvaan called the film “a blessing in disguise.”

He shared, “Though I enjoyed spending time with family, welcoming my beautiful daughter Tridevi Ponnakkah, and running a successful business during my break, I truly missed cinema. I’m grateful that my big comeback is with a director I never imagined I’d get to work with. It still feels like a ‘pinch me’ moment.”

The actor reveals that the film will carry Yograj’s signature Malnad touch. “It will bring back the magic that Gaalipata gave audiences — lush green visuals of Karnataka, soulful music, and a fun storyline. When I first met Yograj sir, he told me he makes films tailor-made for actors, and this one is tailor-made for me,” he says.
