Bhavanaa Raao joins an ensemble cast drama

Bhavanaa Raao has signed up for a role in Hondisi Bareyiri, an emotional drama with an ensemble cast that is directed by R Jagannath, a debutant filmmaker, but long-time associate of producer Rockline Venkatesh.
Bhavanaa joins the set on November 10 and tells us that she plays Bhumika, a modern-day girl in the film. “I am not at liberty to discuss the role or the film, but I am quite excited about joining the ensemble cast, which includes Aishani Shetty, Samyukta Hornad, Naveen of Gultoo fame and Praveen Yadav, among others.It’s a nice story that allows for character development, as everyone’s role has been neatly sketched. In fact, when Jagannath met me to discuss the film, he had a story board ready to explain the narrative,” she says, adding that the film will be shot across locations in Bengaluru and Thirthahalli.
