Bhavana Menon’s new Malayalam flick promises chills and thrills
The actor is excited about working with director Kailas, and acting with Vijay Raghavendra again
Actor Bhavana Menon is balancing the rigours of Sandalwood and Mollywood with panache. Now, signing on for a new Malayalam project titled Hunt, directed by Shaji Kailas, she is thrilled to collaborate with the director for the second time in her career.
A chilling narrative
“I have worked with him in Chinthamani Kolacase which was a huge hit.

We share wonderful chemistry, and hope to recreate the earlier success with Hunt which has thriller elements with many chilling moments, twists and turns,” says Bhavana.
Her character - an inquisitive forensic science student Keerthi Jayarajan has immense potential too. She reveals, “there is great scope in the performance, as the plot unfurls with cops discovering an unidentified body, the intrigue heightens. It’s a very interesting role. I am enjoying portraying every bit of it.”
Back with Vijay Raghavendra
In Sandalwood, Bhavana is collaborating with Vijay Raghavendra for the second time for Case of Kondona, directed by Devi Prasad Shetty. “I essay the role of a cop. I will start shooting in February, and am looking forward to working with Vijay yet again,” she adds.
The actress who essays the role of twin sisters - Bhavana and Akanksha in Kannada flick Pink Note has a bevy of releases in 2023. “My two Malayalam films Ntikkakkakoru Premadarnu and Raani are hitting the screen shortly,” she signs off.
