Actor Bharath Bopanna, who started off with the small screen to go on to debut in Sandalwood with Demo Piece, is now looking beyond Karnataka.
He is debuting in a Tamil film, Achcham Enbathu Illaye, directed by A L Vijay, and with
Amy Jackson,
Nimisha Sajayan and
Arun Vijay in lead roles.
Bharat, who has shot for his introduction portions in London, says, “I play a stylish villain who is on a mission and is ready to do anything to accomplish it.
I will sport a never-seen-before look in an action-oriented movie which I wanted to try for a very long time. The next schedule of shoot will take place in Chennai where I will be shooting with Amy Jackson and Arun Vijay.”
On the transition from lead roles in Kannada to negative roles in Tamil, he said: “Ultimately, I want to do roles which satisfy me. As an actor, I want to do ontrasting roles.”
Bharat, who has taken a break from television, also has another movie called Chikkiya Muguthi, based on a novel. “The shoot is almost done. We are planning to shoot for important portions in Vietnam,” he signs off.
