Bengaluru-based actor Manish Borundia bags a role in Mission Mangal

Orbiter Mission by ISRO. Given that this is a tale that unfolded in Bengaluru, the film has yet another Bengaluru connect. Bengaluru-based actor Manish Borundia, who was formerly called Akash and was the lead actor in Jootata in Sandalwood, has bagged a role in the film. “My role is of an employee of ISRO and I cannot reveal more than that right now. I’ve shot for a couple of schedules in Mumbai already and it has been a lovely experience,” says Manish. He credits cinematographer PC Sreeram for him landing this role. “I’ve known him for years. I had called him to wish him for the festive season around Deepavali, when he mentioned this film and put me in touch with R Balki.
