Ban on Padmapriya revoked in Mollywood

At a time when bans have become common currency, it���������s heartening to note that the Producers Council Association of Kerala has lifted the ban they had imposed on actress Padmapriya. The actress, who won a lot of praise for her role in the Shivarajkumar-starrer Thamassu, had to face this ban, which forbade her from acting in Malayalam films because she had failed to shoot producer Nishad���������s film despite having take an advance for it.
Apparently, the word was that even after signing the agreement, her spokesperson had demanded additional money for the actress, which upset the producer. However, now that the actress has apologized to the Council, and agreed to wrap up the shoot at the earliest, all���������s well that ends well. Hopefully, more actors will take a cue from her case and ensure that projects that they themselves have green lighted and taken the money for should be seen to completion.
