'Bagheera' trailer OUT: Sriimurali portrays a ruthless masked vigilante

Kannada film 'Bagheera', starring Roaring Star Sriimurali and Rukmini Vasanth, is gearing up for its grand theatrical release on October 31, 2024. Directed by DR Suri and written by 'KGF' and 'Salaar' fame Prashanth Neel, the film promises cinema.

The official trailer was released recently, introducing viewers to Vedanth, also known as Bagheera, a masked ruthless killer working as a vigilante killing criminals. The storyline revolves around Bagheera’s relentless pursuit of criminals, with the police department unaware of his true identity and motivations.


The trailer opens with an exchange between a boy and his mother, questioning why divine intervention seems limited to epic times like those of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The mother explains that when humanity descends into chaos, a divine presence may take various forms, and it can also be in the form of a demon.

This summarizes the character of Bagheera who takes justice into his own hands. As the trailer progresses, it hints that the boy asking questions is actually Sriimurali himself, portraying both a police officer and the vigilante Bagheera.
The film also features Prakash Raj, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, and Garuda Ram in the key roles. The musical score for Bagheera is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
