The team of the much-delayed Kannada film

Badmaash

seems to have pulled up its socks and is preparing for the movie's run. And starting this weekend, the team plans to recreate the atmosphere of election campaigns, wherein politicians send out tempos, autorickshaws and vans covered with their party posters on all sides and an announcer compelling you to vote for the leader on his loudspeaker. 'The film is a political thriller, so it made sense for us to promote the film in way politicians canvas and promote themselves just before the elections. We are going send out vehicles in 50 towns of Karnataka, with 10 such vehicles in Bengaluru itself. What's interesting is that we have many online volunteers from across Karnataka who are taking time off to be part of this promotional campaign because of their passion for cinema,' explains director Akash Srivatsa. Badmaash has Dhananjaya and Sanchita Shetty in lead roles.
