Avika Gor gets busy in the south

Avika Gor, who rose to fame with the teleserial Balika Vadhu, is becoming hot property in the south. The young actress recently made her Telugu film debut with Uyaala Jampala, which worked well at the box office and got her much appreciation. Shortly after she was approached for her Kannada debut, young filmmaker-actor Kishan Srikanth's new film Care of Footpath 2, a bilingual that is also being made in Hindi.
Avika, we hear, has already completed her portions for Care of Footpath 2, and the film itself is nearly completed and should be ready for release in a couple of months. In the meantime, the actress has gone on to do another Telugu film, Lakshmi Raave Ma Intiki, which she is currently shooting for, and an untitled rom-com to be directed by Venugopal.
In her Kannada film, Avika plays a character who hails from the slum, in a story that deals with juvenile delinquency. Her co-stars include Deepak, Kishan, J Karthik, Esha Deol and Aneez Bazmi, among others.
