Avanthikka heads to Sandalwood

It���������s been a busy year for model-turned-actor Avanthikka. While she played a vampire in the Mollywood movie Yakshi Faithfully Yours, Avanthikka will essay the role of a college student in her Tamil debut, and is soon making inroads into the Kannada film industry.
As for her Kannada debut, to be directed by Mahesh Rao, Avanthikka says the yet-to-be-titled film will see her pairing up with actor Yogesh.���������It���������s about a rowdy who falls in love with a psychiatrist,��������� she explains.
The actor, who recently wrapped up shoot for her second Mollywood outing 8.20, has also begun work on her Kollywood debut. Titled Shukradasai, the film is being directed by Dandabani, who has assisted Tamil director Bharathiraja earlier. ���������It���������s a romantic comedy, and I play a bubbly character,��������� says Avanthikka. As the title suggests, the actor says, the story is about what happens when your raashi changes to shukra dashai.
With films in three out of the four major south film industries, is Telugu also on the cards? ���������I don���������t have any such plans now. But, yes, if I get some interesting scripts, I will definitely take it up,��������� says the actor.
