Making
Attahasa may have been fraught with struggles for filmmaker AMR Ramesh, but it’s been every bit worth it going by the praises that have been heaped on the film, and now the latest piece of good news. The film has been selected to be showcased at the ASEAN Film Festival.
Naturally, the director is pleased as punch. He made the film with conviction despite the many issues that cropped up before, during, and even after the making of the film.
Ramesh said he was very happy that Attahasa was the first selection for the ASEAN film festival.
The film, which traces the life and times of the slain forest brigand and sandalwood smuggler Veerappan, released in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu, and has music scored by
Sandeep Chowta.
