Assault case: Kiran Raj to walk out of jail soon?

Bangalore Times was the first to report that actress-model

Yasmin Pathan

had filed a complaint against her boyfriend, actor Kiran Raj, in Mumbai on March 31. This was followed by an FIR filed at the

RR Nagar Police Station

, Bengaluru, on April 2, and Kiran's arrest on April 3.

According to a

Kannada

daily, Kiran has secured bail. When we contacted cops at the RR Nagar Police Station, they said that they hadn't received a bail copy, but sources tell us that it is not a requirement.

Even after bail is secured, it may take a day or two for the accused to be allowed to leave jail. The cops at the RR Nagar Police Station have confirmed to us that Kiran is, in fact, still at Parapana Agrahara. Our sources, however, add that Kiran could walk free later today or tomorrow.
